Ok. I should be running right now. Actually I should have started hours ago. What began as a quick email to my clients regarding the closure of my business due to this stupid COVID-19 thing spiralled into a ‘ooh I’m gonna set up that blog I’ve always wanted to start’ thing and a ‘more coffee…’ thing and a ‘can I start drinking wine yet’ thing and a ‘phone calls’ thing…
That and I’m a stubborn perfectionist so setting up a blog site isn’t a 5 minute job.
Who knew…?
Anyway I should be running. But, it was raining earlier and I’m a sun-bunny. I don’t like getting my feet wet unless I’m at the beach or getting a pedicure. I wanted to sit around the house in my fuzzy socks. I felt the need to be adequately caffeinated and my hamstring-butt connector muscle is strained. So I’m sitting here writing this looking out the window thinking I’ll go now.
After one more cup of coffee.
I love running. It creates a fuckton of endorphins, keeps my cardiovascular system in shape, keeps my broken butt looking pretty decent and is really the only exercise that makes me feel as good as dancing used to (I used to dance professionally).
It’s apparently also good training for the Zombie-Apocolypse.

Who knew…?
So here I am rambling blogging. Instead of giving massages. I’m also cooking for local seniors, building a puzzle (has way way way too many pieces), trying my best not to day-drink and spending lots of time outside in the sunshine to boost my mood and immune function. I am also aware that I have built my business not only by giving kick-ass massages, but by being a friendly, giving human being.
Nothing pleases me more than seeing someone else smile. Nothing.
And laughter? Priceless.
I’m also an avid hugger. Human contact is important to me. So, if writing can bring me closer to you in our present ‘touchless’ society, or put a smile on your face then it’s going to make my day and feed my soul.
Ok, no more excuses. The sun is shining now and I should get off my broken butt.
